Mark Mancino is the driving force behind Kinetic Advantage. He has been involved in the Athletic Development industry for over 10 years. His passion for the industry began at a very young age when he was involved in several competitive sports. Mark went on to play hockey at a high level before ending his athletic career to pursue a career in Athletic Development. He received his college diploma and immediately began coaching athletes. Mark acknowledges that a formal education is an important starting point, but credits his endless hours of supplementary reading, research and peer mentoring for his present successes.

Mark believes that in order to develop the athlete, you need to look at them as an individual and plan the training program around their specific needs. He works with the athlete on all properties of Athletic Development: speed, strength, power, flexibility, endurance and skill. His ability to integrate all these physical properties without compromising the athlete’s recovery places Mark in a league of his own.

Mark has physically prepared athletes in a variety of sports at all different levels including: Hockey, Lacrosse, Football, Rugby, Track and Field, Tennis, Squash and many more…. His cutting edge methodology and training style has given his athletes the tools to reach heights they had previously only imagined. He is the coach of coaches! He provides optimal individual attention that is guaranteed to develop your athletic potential in all aspects of your sport. It is his passion and love for sport that has pushed him to achieve such prominence in the industry.

Mark,
Just over two years ago I had both the honour and priviledge of studying under you, I suppose that is when the journey began. At the time I had many questions, and not only did you have the answers, you exhibited incredible patience as I aspired to apply all that you had to teach. Never in my life had I met a fitness professional with so much passion, and such a diversity of interests. What amazed me the most was not your desire to excel, rather it was your unselfishness, as you continued to share with others all that you experienced along the way!

As you advanced in your career I observed your talents as a means to improve my own career and fitness and that journey is never ending. Areas where I felt you had the greatest impact were in the area of Sports Performance. You dared to push the envelope, test the boundaries, and seek results in the most effective, yet safe means for your clientele. The results exceeded anything I could have possibly envisioned! You have succeeded in explaining the intricacies of periodization for high performance and its’ application to program design. You have demonstrated innovative plyometric training principles, successfully broken down compound lifting techniques, and continue to lead the field in flexibility and muscle tension release techniques!

The information you brought to the table could never be taught in a book. I am truly grateful for all you have brought to my career, assistance with overcoming the obstacles of an injury, and for the incredible journey! The single most valuable lesson:

“It is not about how high you set the bar, it is about how often you raise it!”

Yours in health and Fitness,
Candy Keillor
